Do yourselves a favor and google image the Ganterbrucke Bridge. It's amazing.
In the COVID era, a favorite activity has been listening to a good audiobook while going for a long walk. I have some audiobooks I only "let" myself listen to while walking. It's been a great way to really give my brain some relief from thinkingworryingthinkingworrying ;-)
And goats, Kate. Don’t forget the goats.
Goats are really the main thing keeping me going. But I didn't want to make everyone jealous!
Now also added to the mix, baby turkeys and geese on my walk!
In addition to modeling taking time to do what cultivates resilience, I think it's so helpful to notice and support it when you see your fellow team members doing it. Sometimes I still feel guilty when I take time for myself and it really helps me when I hear from a colleague that they see and support that instead of silently judging me as I might fear.
In some children (e.g. my adopted son), when his limbic system takes over (flips his lid), he dissociates rather than acts out (freeze instead of fight or flight).
I've learned to focus on these words during really stressful times...

Thanks Jyothi. That was really helpful!
Thank you - a lot of powerful information to think about and ponder.
What helped me this month is a 30 day Yoga with Adrienne journey...helping to breath and stretch for a dedicated 15-35 minutes a day. Free on the YouTube - start whenever you want!
Thank you! Great reminders.
